TigerRisk, a risk, capital and strategic advisor to the global insurance and reinsurance industry, has appointed Jim Kildoff (pictured) as its Managing General Agent (MGA) head of business. Kildoff, who has worked in the reinsurance industry for 17 years and has two decades of experience in the MGA and program space, has joined Harbor Hill Solutions as CEO.

In a press release, TigerRisk noted that Kildoff MGAs have extensive experience in finding and securing carrier partners as well as working with insuretechs, program managers, insurance and reinsurance agencies, and retail and wholesale distributors. Prior to his role at Harbor Hill, he held senior positions with various companies, including External Insurance Group, State National Insurance Company, Morgan White Group, and Unique Capital Solutions.

Kildoff, who holds a BSc degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Alabama, will be located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where he will report to Lindsay Phrase, head of the Center for Excellence at Tigerriske for North America. The title of his work will be Program Head.

Commenting on the appointment, TigerRisk CEO Rob Bradahl said he was delighted to add such an experienced insurance professional to the team.
