Nationwide Announced that it is providing its coverage assistive devices for eligible members of Amazon’s Business Prime. Using the tool, members will make an online assessment, complete an online quote and then get a special discount by connecting to an agent. The pilot program, which will run through December, is part of a nationwide effort to ensure that small businesses have the required level of insurance coverage.
“We know that customers can use our help to make the best insurance decisions when they understand the security needs of their small business,” said Angie Clayt, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Nationwide. “That’s why we created the coverage assistant. We know this can help customers work through their safety concerns.
Coverage Assistant uses predictive modeling to generate coverage options and risk information individually. To use the tool, eligible Business Prime members can log in to their account and begin their evaluation after landing on the Nationwide page. The Coverage Assistant will then provide small business owners with a customized security assessment so they understand what kind of insurance coverage can make sense for their business, based on other business data like theirs, all in less than five minutes.
Customers can request a digital quote using a dedicated toll-free number to purchase coverage or contact an agent nationwide. Eligible Business Prime members can avail special discounts on policies purchased through licensed sales teams across the country during the pilot.
