NIB Health Fund (NIB) is underwriting the health insurance of ING Bank of Australia Limited (ING) as part of their distribution partnership.
Through the agreement, ING has joined the nib established line-up of white-label partnerships that has contributed to a long track record of insurer policyholder growth.
“We have created a market of white-label capabilities and today, this channel accounts for about 20% of all our health insurance sales,” said Ed Close, chief executive of Australian Residents Health Insurance.
“With more than two million customers, we have great potential to connect to ING’s existing customer base and provide affordable health insurance.
“This is a great example of how two businesses can work together and empower Australians to finance and access healthcare.”
