Ogden had previously been in charge of industrial line insurer distribution strategies and broker-client relationships in the UK and Ireland. Now, as director of underwriting and distribution, he will manage the company’s underwriting strategy across all lines of business in the two markets while maintaining overall responsibility for the distribution function.
“There has been a lot of change in HDI over the last few years,” Ogden noted.
“I’m now presenting the challenges that my new role presents, as we build our progress, provide our medium-term plans for growth and profitability, and provide our customers with insurance solutions that deliver real value.”
The promoted executive will continue to report directly to McDonald’s.
For Davis – who has been instrumental in deepening relationships with broker partners and supporting global initiatives and projects – he will now be responsible for key broker partner relationships and marketing activities.
The new head of distribution commented: “I am proud to lead HDI’s distribution team and I am proud to continue Steff’s great work in developing long-term client-broker relationships.
“As a business, we are committed to supporting clients and brokers with innovative solutions for insurance and risk transfer. I am excited to see how many more companies we can support with these solutions.”
