“For 24 years, Praxis has prided itself on providing a better recovery service to a diverse group of partners in the property and casualty insurance industry,” said Robert Ford, founder of Praxis. “The Praxis team is excited to be partnering with a world leader like Crawford, working together to build Crawford’s vision of being an industry partner of choice.”
“We at Crawford have a relentless pursuit of service excellence,” said Rohit Verma, CEO of Crawford. “The acquisition of Proxis is an exciting step towards the promise of consolidating and rebuilding the insurance ecosystem using our unique combination of technology and people. We look forward to working with our new colleagues at Praxis Consulting.”
Crawford also announced the acquisition of BosBoon Expertise Group BV, a Netherlands-based specialist loss adjusting company. The acquisition supports Crawford’s goal of strengthening its presence on the ground in all areas where it operates, the agency said.
BosBoon provides a range of specialist loss coordination services, which will be integrated into the existing Crawford Global Technical Services (Crawford GTS) offerings in the Netherlands and internationally.
Bosbon has offices in Iceland and Amsterdam. It specializes in liability, construction and engineering, physical injury and marine matters. It complements Crawford’s existing loss-adjustment and TPA services in the Netherlands and the greater European region.
Following the acquisition, the current leadership of Matthew Boone, Herman Van der Boss and Twain Mulendizk, CEO of Bossbun, will remain in place.
“At Crawford, our goal is to maintain our position as the most trusted and reliable claims management company in the insurance industry,” said Andrew Burt, president of Crawford International Loss Adjustment. “By acquiring BosBoon, we are strengthening that position. They are an exceptional team of market experts who are highly respected for both their deep and outstanding expertise as well as their unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service. We see a clear coordination within our organization and acknowledge their desire to restore and improve lives, businesses and communities, which is Crawford’s goal.
“We see significant opportunities to expand our position in the Netherlands and open up the full market potential of our Crawford CTS offer,” said Nils de Kock, Country Manager for the Netherlands and Belgium at Crawford. “Bosbun provides the perfect platform to do this, their relentless pursuit for excellence in service, depth of experience and the long-term nature of their client base. I look forward to working closely with the team as we strive to enhance our capabilities in this area. ”
“At BosBoon, we have secured our market reputation based on the closeness of the relationships we have built with our clients, enabling us to provide solutions tailored to their unique needs,” Boone said. “As part of Crawford, we will be able to capitalize on the incredible scope and scale of the services and technologies we offer to deliver truly different levels of service to our clients in the Netherlands and around the world.”
